Mountain Lions Drop Rangers 72-66 at Home

DENVER, Colo.:  Regis women's basketball fell 72-66 to UC-Colorado Springs tonight, moving to 10-15 overall, 9-12 in the RMAC with one game left in the regular season. 

Each team gained the lead three times throughout the game.   Colorado Springs went up 36-34 at half and completed another 36 points to Regis' 32 points for the victory.

Junior Tae'lor Purdy and senior Sarah Feeney combined for 28 points on the night, but the UCCS overall offensive performance put RU under after two halves.

Purdy also pulled down nine rebounds in the Ranger effort, while Feeney pulled down four and added three assists.

Junior Brandi Collins also put in three assists of Regis, along with nine points and four steals.

The Rangers will play CSU-Pueblo Saturday, March 2 at 3:00 p.m. for their last home conference game of the season.  Seven seniors will be honored prior to tip off.
