Rangers Tab Two to All-RMAC; Junior Tae’lor Purdy to First
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.: Regis University women's basketball tabbed two to All-RMAC teams today as a result of their individual performances throughout the 2012-13 season.
Purdy, a forward from Agate, Colo., has been named All-RMAC every year she has stepped foot on the court including a Freshman of the Year performance in the 2009-10 season. She led the Rangers with 14.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, as well as hitting 126-of-335 from the floor for a 37.6 field goal percentage. Purdy also led Regis with 38 three-pointers made in 134 total attempts and hit on 81.5 percent from the free throw line.
Native of Bismarck, N.D., Feeney has averaged 12.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Rangers. She maintained a 39.8 percentage from the field after sinking 115 shots in 289 attempts. She was also tabbed Academic All-RMAC Second Team during this 2012-13 season. She led Regis with 24 blocks while also put up 38 assists, 24 steals and went 24-of-67 from long distance.
The Rangers finished 2012-13 10-16 overall and 9-13 in the RMAC. In post season play, Regis finished in the first round of the RMAC tournament to nationally ranked #4 Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colo.
