Litchfield Park, Ariz.: A third round score of 307 was good enough for the Rangers to move up one spot at the Grand Canyon Invite into 17th place.
Chico State took home the team title with an 859 (5-under), while RMAC foe UC-Colorado Springs was second just one shot behind at an 860. Regis carded a 941 total over 54 holes at the Wigwam Resort (72-7,228).
Senior Robert Quick was very consistent with rounds of 75-77-75 for a total of 227 (11-over) to tie for 45th. Freshman Steven DaSilva was just one stroke off his career low with a 229 following his rounds of 79 and then two 75s.
Freshman Dillon McDonald turned in a 76 in the third round after his 81 and 82 on the first day. He ended with a 239, while senior Ben Davis (83-88-81) carded a 252 for Regis. Freshman Donny Stewart shot a 54-hole total of 254, with rounds of 83-82-89.
Regis will finish out their fall season at the CCU Invite next Monday and Tuesday at Raccoon Creek Golf Course.
