The Ranger women played the ThunderWolves of Colorado State Pueblo today in Pueblo, Colo. The women outscored the Wolves 2-0 in the RMAC Conference match-up.
The Rangers jumped early, scoring in the eighth minute of play. Midfielder Marissa Davis sent the ball to forward Jordan Miller. Miller, in turn, sent the ball past the goalie and into the goal. The score remained the same in the first half, but the Rangers brought back the momentum early in the second half to close the deal on the win.
In the 50th minute, Davis crossed to Miller who sent the ball to the back of the net for her second goal of the game. The women shot 15 times during the game, eight of those times being on goal.
Goalkeeper Nicole Eddings stayed the whole 88 minutes in between the posts and recorded eight saves. The Rangers will play at Nebraska-Kearney at 12:00 PM on Sunday, October 23rd.
