About Us 
The Regis University Spirit Team consists of Dance and Cheer game-day oriented squads. Our team has the opportunity to cheer on our Volleyball, Men's and Women's Soccer, and Men's and Women's Basketball teams. Members of this team also perform at and participate in various off-campus appearances, Spirit Team fundraisers, and various Regis University community events. We are an integral part of Regis Athletics and dedicate our energy to supporting Regis University and the greater community of Denver.

Squad Expectations 
Regis Spirit Team welcomes individuals of all gender expressions with skills including:
- Cheerleading, dance, and/or gymnastics backgrounds
- Strong physical condition
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and dedicated individual
- Ability to manage time well
- A team player
- A desire to be a leader in the community

Time Commitment 
Our team cheers during fall and spring seasons with appearances at various campus and local events. The season begins in the month of August and runs through the end of March, including post-season games. Team members are required to uphold a commitment not only to competitive athleticism, but also to crowdleading, spirit raising, and school ambassadorship.

Spirit Team members are expected to balance their classes and exams in coordination with the practice times determined by the coaches.

Tryout/Recruitment Information
In-person tryouts for our 2025-26 season will be held in late April 2025.

If at any time before tryouts you are interested in getting recruited, you can also fill out a recruiting form here and send in a skills video to our coach's emails listed previously.

What's the difference between trying out and getting recruited? If you are accepted to the Regis University and wish to commit to the Regis Spirit Team prior to tryouts, getting recruited will secure your spot on the team.
