Box Score Denver, Colo.: The Regis University women's lacrosse team scored the first 11 goals of the game en route to the 21-7 victory over Converse College.
The Valkyries had no answer for the balanced Regis offense as nine different Rangers scored in the game. Seniors Kelsi Going and Cristina Johnson and junior Erin Dybus each notched four goals apiece. Freshman Danica Cutshall came off the bench to score three goals and lead the team with three assists.
Regis improves to 6-1 on the season and with the six wins ties the program record for most wins in a season, set in 2009.
Regis outshot Converse (2-11) 37-11 and were especially controlling in draw controls, out-drawing the Valkyries 21-9.
Sophomore Jessika Carlstrom led the team with three ground balls, while Johnson topped the team with five draw controls. Freshman Kendra Burch was the team leader in caused turnovers with four.
Senior Chani Taggart improved to 2-0 on the season allowing just five goals and saving one other.
