Box Score The men's soccer team travelled to Golden, Colorado to play the Orediggers of Colorado School of Mines today. The Rangers were outscored 2-0 by the Mines team.
The Ranger men recorded 14 shots while goalkeeper Chris Couperus had four saves on the day. Mines scored in the 17th minute by the foot of Baski Baker. He was assisted by Tesho Akindele. Baker received a short pass from Akindele and touched it around Couperus for the goal.
In the 56th minute, the Orediggers' offense struck again. Akindele received a pass from Phillip Wilson to drive through the middle of the Ranger goal.
The men will play Colorado State University-Pueblo Friday, September 30th at 4:00 PM. The game will take place in Denver, Colorado at the Regis Match Pitch.
