Box Score

DENVER, Colo.:  #23 Regis University's women's soccer lost their second RMAC match today against the #16 Metro State RoadRunners.   Although the Rangers scored first, the RoadRunners netted two goals throughout to earn the advantage.

The loss puts the Rangers at 7-4-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

The Ranger goal came in the 24th minute after sophomore Meghan Stuart was fouled by a Metro defender.  Senior Marissa Davis took the free kick from just past midfield, sending it in to freshman Danielle Dageenakis who put a header through to the back of the net.

Metro State answered with a goal of their own in the 37th minute of play and again in the 79th minute to put the Rangers under.

Regis outshot Metro 15-12 but RoadRunner goalie Jordan Simkins logged six saves on the day.

The Rangers will hit the road Friday, October 12th to take on NM Highlands at 7:00 PM.
