#14 Regis Earns Two Seed in RMAC Tournament; Host Western N.M. on Tuesday

Colorado Springs, Colo.: The 14th-ranked Regis University volleyball team earned the #2 seed in the upcoming RMAC Tournament. 

The Rangers will host a first round game on Tuesday, Nov. 13th at 8:00 p.m.  They will host the #7 seed Western New Mexico, a team they defeated 3-0 on October 5th at the Regis Fieldhouse.

Fort the first time in school history, the Rangers will go into the RMAC Tournament as the #2 seed.  Regis last won the RMAC Tournament championship in 2008 when they went in as the five seed defeating the seven seed Mesa State.

Regis ended the season with 22 wins, the most since the 2001 team notched 24.  The Rangers were 16-3 in RMAC play, the best since the 1999 team went 17-2.

Colorado Mines earned the top seed by winning their first ever regular season RMAC title with a 17-2 RMAC mark.  Mines will play host to #8 Colorado Mesa.

The format has changed this season with the top four teams, regardless of division, earning a home game.  The highest seed remaining after those four games will host the final four on Friday and Saturday.
