#19 Orediggers Defeat Rangers 1-0 in RMAC Tournament Championship Match

DENVER, Colo.:  Regis University women's soccer fell 1-0 to nationally ranked #19 Colorado School of Mines today in the RMAC Tournament Championship match. 

The Orediggers put the only goal of the match through to the back of the net in the fourth minute of play.  The goal occurred off a corner kick that was headed into the goal. 

Regis put three of their six shots on goal throughout the 90 minutes, but the Mines goalie matched all the Ranger attempts to keep them scoreless.

Freshman goalkeeper Brianna Randall earned one save on the day.

Four Rangers were named to the 2012 All-Tournament team.  Senior Marissa Davis, juniors Alison Cahill and Meghan Stuart and freshman Sade Akindele were given the honor after the match.

The NCAA women's soccer selection show will air at 5:30 PM on Monday, November 5th.
