Box Score DENVER, Colo.: Senior Sarah Feeney gave quite a performance tonight, leading Regis to a 73-49 point victory over Chadron State. The forward put up her first double-double, scoring 21 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
The Rangers closed out the first half with a 32-28 point lead, and went on a big run to start the second, putting the Eagles under.
Regis outscored the Eagles 41 to 21 in the second half.
On the night, Feeney made seven from the field and went 7-for-7 at the charity stripe.
It was a massive collective effort from all the Rangers, as they scored 27 off the bench. Senior Meghan Hollenga put up eight points and six rebounds. She went three-for-six from the field and two-for-4 from the free throw line.
Senior Miranda Martine had seven points on the night, never missing a shot. She went two-for-two from the field, one-for-one from long distance and two-for-two from the charity stripe.
Senior Nicole Brzeczek, juniors Tae'lor Purdy and Brandi Collins and sophomore Sarah Seefeldt each put up six points for the Rangers.
The Rangers hit 43.1 percent from field goal range, 23.5 from long distance and 81.3 from the free throw line throughout the RMAC game.
Regis forced 27 Eagle turnovers, making 26 points off of them throughout the night.
