Regis University Men's Golf Has an Uphill Battle to Climb After Two Rounds at the RMAC Championships

Litchfield Park, Ariz.: The Regis University men's golf team has an uphill battle to climb after two rounds at the RMAC Championships.  The men carded a 327 in the first round but bounced back with a 307 in the second round.

Colorado Mines leads the team race with a 589, 23 strokes better than Nebraska-Kearney.

Senior Taylor Hulbert shot a 72 in the second round at the par 72, 7,228 yard Wigwam Golf Course.  However, his opening round 85 put him behind the eight ball and he sits in a tie for 24th with a 157.

Fellow senior Robert Quick shot identical 79s for a 36-hole score of 158 to tie for 27th.  Freshmen Dillon McDonald and Steven DaSilva shot 160 and 161 respectively.  McDonald went 83-77, while DaSilva shot an 81 in the first round and an 80 in the second round.

Senior Ben Davis rounded out the team with a 163 (84-79).

The final 18 holes will be played tomorrow.
