Klein and Williamson Named to All-RMAC Teams

Colorado Springs, Colo.: Sophomores Katie Klein and Jaclyn Williamson were honored today on the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams.  Klein was honored on the first team, while Williamson earned third team honors.

Klein, from Seal Beach, Calif., was fourth in the RMAC averaging 3.74 kills per set while led the Rangers.  The right side hitter also averages 1.76 digs per set and 0.26 blocks per set.  Klein was both named to the CSU-San Bernardino and Colorado Premier Challenge All-Tournament teams.  Last season Klein was an All-RMAC Second Team selection and earned the RMAC Tournament MVP in 2012. Klein's 840 kills so far in her first two seasons are the most of any Ranger in history through their sophomore year.  

Williamson, who hails from Carlsbad, Calif., ranks eighth in the RMAC in assists at 9.71 per contest and is one of the top defenders of any RMAC setter averaging 2.56 digs per set, third best for the Rangers.  She ranks second on the team with 20 service aces.  Williamson, who was also a Third Team All-RMAC peformer last season, is already ninth in Regis history with 2,197 assists.

Klein and Williamson will lead Regis as the #5 seed in the RMAC Tournament in a contest against Adams State tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Alamosa.
