On the night, the Rangers maintained 45.6 percent from the field, 45.8 percent from 3-point range and 70.0 percent from the charity stripe.
Senior Tae'lor Purdy put in a huge performance for her team yet again, finishing the game with her fifth double-double of the season after scoring 26 points and pulling down 16 rebounds on the night. In the first half alone, the elder Purdy netted 20 points and grabbed eight points. Overall, she snagged nine field goals, went 4-6 from long distance and 4-5 from the charity stripe.
Also hitting some strong 3-pointers was junior Erica Von Stein who snagged 14 points on the game after putting down four from 3-point range and five total from the field.
Senior Brandi Collins was good for 11 points as well after putting up four from the field, one from long distance and going 2-2 from the charity stripe.
The Rangers will return to the Regis Fieldhouse tomorrow, December 14 at 3:00 p.m. to take on the Mountain Lions of UC-Colorado Springs.
