Box Score DENVER, Colo.: Regis University women's basketball fell 64-49 to the RoadRunners of Metro State University of Denver tonight.
The Rangers were down 32-28 going into the second and were outshot by Metro 32-21 in the second half for the win.
Senior Kaitie Vader led the Rangers with 13 points on the night. She also picked up three steals, one assist, three rebounds and a 6-for-10 performance from the field.
Junior Tae'lor Purdy bucketed 11 points for Regis after going 3-for-8 from the field, 2-for-4 from long distance and 3-for-5 at the charity stripe. She also picked up two rebounds and led the Rangers, along with senior Miranda Martine, with five rebounds.
Along with her five rebounds, Martine put up six points for the Rangers, three steals and two assists.
Senior Sarah Feeney led the Rangers with five assists, while going 2-for-6 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 at the free throw line.
As a team, the Rangers shot 36 percent from the field, including a 33.3 percent performance from long distance. They hit 8-for-14 at the charity stripe throughout the night.
Regis will take on Adams State University next on Friday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. The game will take place in Alamosa, Colo.
