Box Score Alamosa, Colo.: Life on the road in the RMAC is not easy and the Ranger men's basketball team found out in a 92-56 loss to Adams State. Adams State led wire-to-wire in the contest.
Freshman Billy Hansen hit a three pointer with 12:11 to cut the lead to 17-12 but Adams State (17-6, 14-5 RMAC) scored the next eight points and 14-of-the-next-16 points to take a commanding 31-14 lead with 7:36 left in the first half.
Regis (7-15, 6-13 RMAC) trailed 49-30 at half and couldn't make a run in the second half falling 92-56.
Senior Demitrius Owens led the way for Regis with a team high 11 points and a game-high eight rebounds. Freshman Kevin Marshall tallied nine points, while Jon Conley came off the bench to supply eight on 3-of-4 shooting.
Regis will head down the road to Durango, Colo. where they will take on Fort Lewis on Saturday evening.
