The second half proved difficult once again for Regis with the Rangers not able to close the door on defense allowing 40 points to their opponents in exchange for only 27 of their own, finishing out 79-61 on the night.
Senior Tae'lor Purdy put in another strong offensive solo performance with 29 big points after hitting nine from the field, three from long range and a perfect 8-8 from the charity stripe.
Freshman Kaycee Hert and senior Brandi Collins put in 16 and 14 points respectively. Hert went 7-12 from the field and Collins hit six from the field and two from 3-point range. The senior also led the team with three steals and owned a helpful three assists.
Regis, currently fourth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, moves to 7-7 overall and 5-5 against the conference.
