Denver, Colorado - The Regis Ranger volleyball team gave their head coach, Frank Lavrisha, his 600th win of his career with a 3-0 sweep of Chadron State.  Lavrisha is just 1-of-9 active coaches to reach that milestone and 1-of-21 coaches all time in NCAA Division II to achieve that many wins.

The three seniors, Gina Morgan, Maya Kirkeby and Mary Schroeder played their final regular season home game and as a class notched 83 wins.

Regis (18-8, 13-5 RMAC) will head into RMAC Tournament play as the No. 4 seed and will host the No. 5 seed CSU-Pueblo on Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm at the Regis Fieldhouse.  

The Rangers had no trouble in the first set and cruised to a 25-12 win.  They limited the Eagles to a -.057 attack percentage for the set and a .052 percentage for the match.  Set two started out close as Regis led just 14-10 but ended the game on a 11-5 run to win going away 25-15.

Regis led set three 20-12 before the Eagles (3-24, 2-16 RMAC) roared back.  They scored eight straight points to tie the set at 20 paiece.  RU came back with two in a row and then scored the last three including two in a row to finish it off by senior Mary Schroeder.

Breaux again led the way in kills with 16, while Schroeder was close behind with 12.  Schroeder hit .400 on the night helping the Rangers to a .351 attack percentage.  Maggie Steward led the waty with a .562 attack percentage (10-1-16), while Gina Morgan had a .500 with eight kills in 14 attempts and just one error.

Rebecca Sponcil had 21 assists, six digs and a service ace, while Jaclyn Williamson put up 19 assists.  Maya Kirkeby led all players with 11 digs and two service aces while Breaux notched another double-double with 10 digs.  Morgan led the defense with one block solo and three block assists.
