Road Not Kind to Rangers in 89-53 Loss to CSU-Pueblo

Pueblo, Colorado - CSU-Pueblo led wire-to-wire defeating Regis in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's basketball action 89-53.  

Regis (2-4, 0-2 RMAC) trailed just 5-4 early on but CSU-Pueblo (5-3, 2-1 RMAC) went on a 15-1 run over a six-minute period to blow the game open and take a commanding 20-5 lead.  CSU-Pueblo led at half 47-23.

RU got to the free throw line, 24-20, but were only able to hit 54.2 percent from the charity stripe.  Regis turned the ball over 20 times to just nine for CSU-Pueblo.

Dexter Sienko and Spenser Reeb both came off the bench to lead the team in scoring at 10 apiece.  Sienko went 4-for-5 from the field and topped RU with four rebounds and three assists.  Brett Hartshorne was next chipping in with nine points.

It will not get any easier as the Rangers will take on fifth-ranked University of Colorado Colorado Springs on Saturday evening.
