Box Score DENVER, Colo.: Regis advanced their overall record to 11-8 and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference record to 9-6 after blowing out RMAC opponents Chadron State 90-59 tonight.
The Rangers outscored the Eagles 49-25 in the first half and 41-34 in the second for their staggering victory. RU hit an impressive 45.5 percent from the field, 44.4 percent from 3-point range and went 8-12 from the charity stripe.
Four Rangers hit double figure points throughout the game.
Senior Tae'lor Purdy was good for 20 points on seven field goals including three from long range and a 3-4 performance from the free throw line. She pulled down seven rebounds and collected two steals and one assist on the night.
Sophomore Bay'lee Purdy went 4-7 from 3-point range and was good for six overall field goals for her 16 points.
Juniors Sarah Seefeldt and Erica Von Stein put in an impressive performance as well with 14 and 12 points respectively. Seefeldt pulled down five rebounds along with her 7-10 output from the field while Von Stein added five assists, six rebounds and four big 3-pointers on the night.
Senior Brandi Collins added a big seven assists and five rebounds to the Ranger docket while freshman Kaycee Hert led the team with eight total rebounds.
Next weekend, the Rangers will travel to Colorado Christian on Friday, Feb. 7 to take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. and then will head to Colorado Mines on Saturday, Feb. 8 to compete against the Orediggers at 5:00 p.m.
