The Mountaineers came within one at 19-18 but three straight Ranger points bumped up the lead to secure the third set 25-20.
RU started the fourth set with something to prove forcing Western State to a timeout at a score of 10-2. Unforced Mountaineer errors coupled with an all-around Regis team effort, the Rangers extended the lead to ten, the largest of the night, on two separate occasions and finally finished off WSU with a kill by Katie Klein.
Regis defense was solid throughout the night consistently causing havoc for the Mountaineers hitters recording 79 digs. Cedar Bellows also added a presence at the night tallying three blocks.
