Box Score COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – In the second to last game of 2015, the Regis University women's basketball team earned a solid road win traveling to the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions (6-4, 2-2 RMAC). Three players scored double-digits helping to power the Rangers to a 73-59 victory.

Bay'lee Purdy, and
Kaylie Rader led the charge throughout the night starting off the first quarter scoring RU's first several points. Regis owned a 10-6 lead after five minutes of play quickly pushing the lead 20-9 while holding UCCS to shoot just 25 percent from the field after the first.
A slightly down quarter of scoring for the Rangers in the second led to the Mountain Lions narrowly outscoring RU 18-16 but it was not enough to cut the deficit. The Rangers controlled the game at halftime 36-27.
A 15-5 run brought the hosts within one halfway through the third, 43-42, but closed the quarter on an 11-3 run to take back control. The Rangers closed out the game committing to the defensive side of the ball. RU outscored UCCS 19-14 in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Williams led Regis with 20 points going 9-of-16 from the field and 2-of-3 from distance for one of her best offensive performances this season. Williams also led in rebounding with 16, her most thus far, and chipped in with five assists. Purdy added 17 while Rader put up her third double-double in a row dropping 14 points and pulling down ten boards.
The Rangers punched a 44.4 percent field-goal percentage to the Mountain Lions 29.7 while taking the rebound battle 44-40, recording 16 offensive boards. RU did well in sharing the ball tallying 16 assists, the most this season.
Regis will play their final game of year against Metro State Saturday, December 19 at 5 p.m.
