The Rangers produced yet another come from behind victory to defeat the ThunderWolves (8-10, 4-2 RMAC) 5-4 and then turned a 3-2 result on the Colorado Mesa Mavericks (11-9, 7-1 RMAC). Headed into today's games, these three were the only unbeaten teams in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with the Rangers (10-6, 5-0 RMAC) now standing alone at the top still undefeated.
In the first game, two scoreless innings would lead into the top of the third when senior Taylor Wilcox (El Centro, California) tripled to center to score sophomore Bradey King (Loveland, Colorado). The ThunderWolves responded in the bottom half to take a 2-1 lead.
Junior Nicole Aviles (Phoenix, Arizona) singled up the middle to score freshman Emily John (Beaverton, Oregon) who reached on base by singling to left to tie the score 2-2 in the top of the seventh.

A big top of the eighth would score three more runs off two singles and two walks to give RU a 5-2 lead. The ThunderWolves would come close bringing two more across the plate but Ranger defense held them off for the 5-4 win. Aviles earned the win moving her to an overall record of 8-3 on six strikeouts.
In the second game, the Mavericks got on the scoreboard first from stealing home, 1-0. Junior Nicole Hull (Westminster, Colorado) evened the score by sending one over the right field fence, 1-1.
Two singles by sophomores Carlie Sexton (Littleton, Colorado) and Alyssa Finger (Las Vegas, Nevada) put runners in scoring position as Hull stepped back into the box. She scored both by doubling to center for her second and third RBI's of the game.
The Mavericks would score one in the bottom of the fourth but RU would hold on for the 3-2 win. Hull, the offensive leader, was also on the mound for Regis earning the win striking out five batters and allowing just three hits and one earned run.
