Lubbock, Tex.- After going 1-1 on day one of the season, the Regis softball team was not going to let day two end in the same result. The team heads into the last day of the weekend with a 3-1 record.

In the first inning against Midwestern St. Sr. Rachel Illias started the offensive threat for the Rangers driving in Jr. Bradey King and So. Emily John for a 2-0 lead. Then Sr. Nicole Aviles helped extend the lead to 3-0 with a single to right field and Illias crossing home plate. Later in the same inning So. After a scoreless third inning, the Rangers closed in on the Aggies with a single run scored from Sr. Ashley Prescott on a throwing error while stealing third.
