Box Score SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Regis University women's basketball team captured their third-straight win on the road over the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets (1-8, 1-4 RMAC). Three recorded double-digit production leading the Rangers to the 62-54 victory. RU improved to an overall record of 9-1 and 4-1 in conference play.

Mary Sigler led three Regis players in double figures by scoring 18 points, one shy of her career-high, including 12 in the first half. Junior guard

How It Happened: Regis outscored the Yellow Jackets through three of four quarters, including closing out the fourth quarter on a 10-3 run. The Rangers led Black Hills State throughout the entire game overcoming some early back-and-forth in the beginning of the first quarter and a final push from the Yellow Jackets in the fourth.

Offensive production slowed for both sides in the second quarter as RU held their largest lead, 25-14, at the three-minute mark. The Yellow Jackets began chipping away at the deficit in the third quarter coming within two, 38-36.

BHSU eventually took a slight and short 47-45 lead over the Rangers with just under five minutes to play in the fourth quarter. Back-to-back jumpers swung the lead back in favor of RU for the final time, 52-49. The Rangers went five-for-five in the final minute from the line to solidify the victory.

Game Notes: RU shot 45.5 (20-44) from the field, 42.9 (6-14) from beyond the arc and 72.7 (16-22) percent from the line. The Yellow Jackets slightly outrebounded the Rangers 33-32. Regis held BHSU to shoot 36.5 (19-52) and 27.8 (5-18) percent from three. RU scored 20 points off 16 Black Hills State turnovers.
