Box Score RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Regis University women's basketball team extended their win streak to four cruising past the South Dakota School of Mines Lady Hardrockers 70-41. Regis improved to an overall record of 10-1 and 5-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
 
For the second consecutive night, scoring was evenly dispersed as three netted double-digits while 12 players recorded minutes in the win. Mary Sigler led RU offensively producing 21 points on 7-of-20 from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 from the line. Majestie Robinson and Chante Church each contributed with 12 points combining to shoot 8-of-12 from the field, 4-of-7 from beyond the arc and 4-for-4 from the line.
 
How It Happened: The Lady Hardrockers opened the game on a 5-2 run holding Regis scoreless for the first five minutes. RU quickly took over as South Dakota Mines would hold their final lead of the game at the 4:13 mark, 8-5, in the first quarter.
 
The Rangers held their largest lead of the game in the fourth quarter at 66-34 with 3:28 left. RU consistently kept the Lady Hardrockers at a double-digit deficit from the 7:49 mark in the second quarter and on.
 
Game Notes: The Rangers went a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line and outrebounded South Dakota Mines by 20, 40-20. Shelby Espinosa led Regis in rebounding pulling down nine and Kaylie Rader added eight to increase the domination on the boards. RU dished out 12 assists led by Sigler and Church with three apiece. Regis shot 43.1 (25-58) and 36.4 (8-22) percent from three-point land. Just one South Dakota Mines player reached double-digits at ten as they were held to 27.5 (14-51) and 21.7 (5-23) percent from three.
 
Next Up For The Rangers: Regis takes a short hiatus from action for the holiday break until hosting Saturday, December 31 hosting Fort Lewis at 5 p.m.
