Box Score DENTON, Tex. – The Regis University women's soccer team battled with the Texas Woman's University Pioneers through 110 minutes and double overtime to end in a draw.
How It Happened: Much of the first half was played in the middle of the field as Texas Woman's headed into halftime with a 3-2 shot advantage. The Rangers found some offensive momentum in the second half producing more scoring opportunities, 7-5.
As regulation time continued to wind down, RU had a shot and two corner kicks in the final five minutes. Each team in first ten minutes of overtime had one shot and one corner kick apiece.

Julia Coombs made a save and the Rangers outshot the Pioneers 5-1. Although Regis controlled the shot column 15-10, neither team could capitalize to find the game-winner.
Game Notes: Coombs recorded three saves in all 110 minutes of action in goal.
Tori Rinsem led the charge offensively tallying three shots, two of which were on frame.
Kalianna Crosby added two shots of her own. Texas Woman's dominated in corner kicks 8-3 while RU forced the TWU goalkeeper to make five saves.
Next Up For The Rangers: Regis will return to Denver for their home opener on Friday, September 8 at 5 p.m. hosting Cal State-San Bernardino (1-0-1).
