LUBBOCK, Texas - The Regis University men's and women's country teams competed hard at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championship. After a long day of racing, the women finished 25th while the men took 27th.

On the ladies side, Clarke paced Regis with a personal-best (34 seconds) time of 23:54.90 in the 6,000 Meter Run. She finished 110th in the race.
Uhing crossed the finish line next for RU with a time of 25:00.70 while Saddoris was on her tail in 149th with a personal-best (6 seconds) time of 25:09.70.
Taylor took home a personal-best (15 seconds) time of 27:24.20 and Nguyen earned a time of 28:40.90. Â
For the men, all three finished in tandem in the 10,000 Meter Run. Oakes led the way (39:37.07) while Weir (44:01.65) and Bennett (44:23.98) were close behind.
The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) was well-represented as nine of the top-10 teams on both the men's and women's side were RMAC members. Adams State (30 pts) took first for the women and Colorado School of Mines (42 pts) was the fastest team for the men.Â
Brianna Robles of Adams crossed the finish line first for the women and Dillon Powell of CSM broke the tape for the men.Â
Both team's futures remain bright. Through the fall 2021 season, both teams racked up an incredible 23 personal-bests. The squads will look to have a productive off-season and get back at it in the fall of 2022.
