Rangers venture south for RMAC Cross Country Conference Championships

DURANGO, Colo. – The Regis University men and women's cross country traveled south to Durango to compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Cross Country  Championship on Saturday.

How It Happened: The Ranger women finished 15th overall with a combined time of two hours, 20 minutes, and 51 seconds. The men also finished 15th overall with a combined time of two hours, 39 minutes, and 21 seconds.

On the women's side, Lily Saddoris lead the charge for the Rangers, finishing in 88th with a time of 26 minutes, 19.5 seconds. Mariah Heuer followed up behind Saddoris with a time of 27:41.8 and finished in 101st.

Mikaela Taylor, and McKenna Uhing held down the middle of the Ranger pack, finishing 103rd and 104th respectively. Taylor finished in 27:46.6 and Uhing finished in 29:12.8.

Rounding out the pack was Ryann Sheehanand Abigail Blanner, finishing 113th and 114th respectively. Sheehan finished in 35:44 while Blanner finished in 39:05.3.

For the men, freshman Eric Casey led the Rangers with a 110th place finish and crossing the line in 29:16.3. Close behind Casey was Judd Ogle who finished 113th and with a time of 30:21.4.

Finishing out for the Rangers was William Oakes followed by John Murphy and Aaron Bennett. Oakes finished in 115th and with a time of 31:22.9. Murphy finished in 117th with a time of 32:43.3 and Bennett finished in 118th with a time of 35:38.1.

Up Next: The Rangers stay at home to run in the NCAA South Central Regional at Washington Park on Nov. 19.
