Box Score SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The Regis University men's basketball team (17-7,12-6 RMAC) faced the Westminster College Griffins (11-15, 9-11 RMAC) at the Behnken Field House in Salt Lake Saturday night. RU kept it somewhat close, but was unable to overcome the Griffins' Senior Night success.
How it Happened: Regis was in a hole early after WC went on a 11-0 run to kick things off. A pair at the line from freshman forward
Brayden Carter got the team within five points (22-27) at the 4:18 mark in the first half. But a 14-2 Griffin run to end the half made the Rangers' deficit 24-41.
RU's 10-2 run to open the final frame brought them within single digits again, but Westminster kept weathering Regis' runs. RU greatly improved their shooting from the first frame, but it wasn't enough for a comeback. The Rangers fell 53-72 as the last buzzer sounded.
Game Notes: Regis was 33 percent (19-57) and 19 percent (4-21) from deep.

Aaron Bokol (5-11 FG, 1-3 3-PT) led RU with 17 points.
Redshirt junior forward
Kevin Ebiriekwe (3-8 FG, 1-3 3-PT) scored nine off the bench.
Graduate student guard
Brian Dawson (3-9 FG, 1-4 3-PT) chipped in seven points.
