No. 3 seed Rangers open NCAA DII South Central Regional play on Friday against No. 6 seed Black Hills State

| By:
DENVER, Colo. — The bracket has been set for this weekend's NCAA Division II National Women's Basketball Tournament, with the Regis women's basketball team set to get tournament play underway in the South Central Regional, hosted by Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.

Regis was awarded the No. 3 seed for the region, following its run to the RMAC regular season and tournament championships; the program's first since the 2006-07 season. Waiting for them in San Angelo will be a familiar foe in No. 6 seed Black Hills State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 11 a.m. Mountain Time inside Stephens Arena.

The Rangers and Yellow Jackets squared off twice during the RMAC regular season, with BHSU earning a 71-64 home win on Dec. 2, 2022 and Regis defending its home court with a 67-53 victory on Feb. 11, 2023.

The winner of Friday's first-round game would advance to play the winner of No. 2 Texas Women's University/No. 7 Lubbock Christian University. That second-round contest is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets for the South Central Regional Tournament may do so online, beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, or in person. Single-game tickets are priced at $12 for adults and $7 for children, while tournament passes will also be on sale for $30 for adults and $15 for children.
