Rangers Run at Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Regis University Men's Cross Country team finished sixth place at the Ted Castaneda Classic, hosted by Colorado College, on Saturday Morning, their third meet of the season.

RU earned 146 team points.

Colorado School of Mines took first place with 34 team points, while Will Shuflit of Colorado College was the individual champion with a time of 25:07.1.

Jordan Moon was the top performer for the Rangers, scoring 26 points with his time of 28:30.1.

John Murphy was the next finisher, scoring 27 with a mark of 29:15.1, and Kenoby Hetman was behind him, finishing in 29:31.9 for 28 points. Demetrious Brown (32, 31:51.9) and Jack McKenzie (33, 34:06.6) were the final scorers for Regis, while Iker Acosta-Ferrera was the next to cross the finish line at 36:04.

The Rangers next meet is the Highlander Invitational, hosted by University of California-Riverside on Oct. 19.
