Rangers Compete in First Meet in Program History

GOLDEN, Colo. – The Regis University Women's Indoor Track team completed in their meet in program history this weekend at the Colorado School of Mines Alumni Classic.

Arabella Hebink would compete first for the Rangers, recording a leap of 5.02m (16' 53/4") in the long jump, placing 12th. Throwers Kimberly Salazar and Marisa Martinez followed that with marks of 8.13m (26' 8 1/4") and 8.03m (26' 4 ¼") in the shot put, respectively.

On Saturday, Kyra Shipp and Dorothy Freeman competed in the 60m dash, with Shipp recording a time of 8.51 and Freeman at 8.57. Shipp then continued to the high jump, clearing 1.45m (4' 9") and the 400m, posting a time of 1:06.11.

The Rangers return to action on January 18 at the CU-Boulder Potts Invitational.
