PUEBLO, Colo. – The Regis University Men's Cross Country team ran at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships, hosted by CSU-Pueblo, at the Walking Stick Golf Course on Saturday morning.
The Rangers finished 23rd out of 24 teams with 627 team points.
Adams State earned the team crown with 42 points, while Weldon Chebon of New Mexico Highlands was the individual champion.
Lyon Craig was the top finisher for Regis, taking 57th with a time of 32:14.0. After him was Liam Chavez, in 129th, finishing in 34:40.3, and Carson Schuler, whose time of 35:00.8 placed him 139th. John Murphy posted a mark of 35:43.5 for 147th place, and Alex Sullivan took 155th, with a time of 27:39.8.
Every Ranger recorded personal best 10k times.
A record-setting 2025 season concludes for the Rangers.
The NCAA DII National Championship Meet is set for November 22 at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis.
