FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Regis University Men's Outdoor Track and Field Team competed at the Colorado State University Jack Christiansen Invite this weekend. The meet was not scored.
Nathan Dyck posted the top finish for Regis at the meet, taking fifth place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:22.54. Four other Rangers competed in the event, with Wyatt Farace finishing 10th with a mark of 16:26.93, just ahead of Eric Casey in 11th (16:44.35), Carson Schuler in 12th (17:00.63), and Aaron Bennett in 14th (20:21.69).
Quinn McKnight and Jack McKenzie also posted top-10 marks in the 800, as McKnight finished in 2:03.41 for fifth place, and McKenzie in 2:10.83 for seventh.
John Murphy took 19th in the 100-meter dash with a mark of 12.33, and 18th in the 1500 meter run at 4:23.32. Jordan Moon was right behind him in the 1500, posting a time of 4:23.46 for 19th.
The Rangers return to action on Friday, April 4 at the CU-Boulder Jerry Quiller Classic.
