GOLDEN, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference held the 2025 Outdoor Track and Field RMAC Championship Meet at Colorado School of Mines this weekend, and the Rangers took 9th place, scoring 17 team points.
UCCS claimed the team title with 198 points.
Lindsey Cure captured 10 points for the Rangers, taking the gold in the Javelin Throw with a personal best mark of 46.43m (152'4"). She won the event by nearly three meters, and moved into the top 15 in all of NCAA DII.
Bryn McNair earned the Rangers' other seven points. She tied for second place in the high jump with Rojrika Cambell of New Mexico Highlands University. McNair cleared a PR 1.67m (5'5.75").
Dorothy Freeman also competed in the conference high jump competition.
Alex Baer represented the Rangers in the 100-meter hurdles, and 400-meter hurdles, recording times of 17.15 and 1:13.02, respectively. Her 100H time is a PR, while her 400H time was under a 10th of a second off her best.
The final Ranger to run was Caitie Slattery, who posted a time of 5:01.20 in the 1,500 meter run, just three seconds off her best time.
The Rangers return to action on Saturday, May 3 at the Colorado State University Doug Max Invite.
