Rangers Set Personal Bests at Doug Max Invite

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Regis University Men's Track and Field team competed in the Colorado State University Doug Max Invitational on Saturday.

Three Rangers ran in the 100-meter dash, all setting their career-best times. Bradley Petrie posted a time of 12.39, Kenoby Hetman finished in 12.59, and Aaron Bennett in 13.40.

John Murphy and Jack McKenzie also set PRs in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, at 11:29.23 and 12:11.15, respectively. Additionally, McKenzie recorded a time of 56.48 in the 400-meter dash.

Murphy also had his best mark in the 1,500-meter run at 4:14.95. He was joined by Nathan Dyck's best time, 4:04.75, and Carson Schuler, 4:20.03. Schuler also PR'd in the 800-meter run, finishing in 2:01.48.

In the 5,000-meter run, Jordan Moon had his best time with a mark of 16:37.66, while Eric Casey had a time of 17:13.23.

Josh Dominguez was the lone field event competitor, taking third with a throw of 43.96m (144'3").

The Rangers return to action on Friday, May 9 at the Air Force Twilight Open
