BOULDER, Colo - The Regis University Women's Track and Field team competed in the Colorado Classic, hosted by the CU Buffaloes.
To start the weekend on Friday,
Marisa Martinez would throw her best mark of 8.72 (28'7.5") on her first attempt, and Kimberly Salazar followed, throwing her best mark on her second attempt of 7.98 (26'2.25").
On Saturday,
MaKaylee Harris competed in the women's 200 meters, posting a time of 29.73 seconds.
Valeria Bustos followed in the 400 meters with a mark of 1:14.99. In the 800 meters,
Caitie Slattery led the way with a time of 2:22.84, followed closely by Madilyn Gifford at 2:26.75 and
Mila Stamper at 2:36.95.
In the women's mile, Slattery recorded a time of 5:17.25, while Stamper added a mark of 5:38.76.
Allie Braney rounded out the distance events with a time of 18:13.27 in the women's 5,000 meters.
Up next, the Rangers head to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the Colorado Running Company Mountain Lion Open on February 14th.
