PUEBLO, Colo. – The Regis University women's track and field team competed in its second meet of the season at the Chuck Haering Classic Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Pueblo, Colorado.
In the women's 800 meters, Caitie Slattery delivered a standout performance, recording a personal best time of 2:19.48. She continued her strong showing in the 1500 meters, notching another personal record at 4:48.81. Mila Stamper also achieved a personal best in the event, crossing the line in 5:07.18.
In the field events, Dorthy Freeman led the way in the long jump with a mark of 4.84 meters (15'10.5"). In the discus, Marisa Martinez posted a throw of 27.59 meters (90'0.6"), followed closely by Kendal Allaire at 27.03 meters (88'0.8") and Kimberly Salazar at 26.04 meters (85'0.5").
Allaire and Freeman matched each other in the high jump, each clearing 1.48 meters (4'10.25"). In the shot put, Martinez recorded a throw of 9.20 meters (30'2.25"), while Salazar followed with a mark of 8.58 meters (28'1.75").
On the track, Addison Kahler clocked a time of 15.94 in the 100-meter hurdles, with Lauryn Uyemura finishing in 17.32. Uyemura also competed in the 400-meter hurdles, recording a time of 1:09.10.
In sprint events, Kahler posted a time of 27.08 in the 200 meters, followed by Freeman (27.51) and MaKaylee Harris (29.04). Aaliyah Rodrakkwan rounded out the day with a time of 1:02.67 in the 400 meters.
