Denver, Colo. – Arabella Hebinck and Caitie Slattery have been named to the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country/Track and Field Academic All-District® Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced on Tuesday.
Hebinck, a sophomore from Highlands Ranch, Colo., boasts a 3.96 GPA while pursuing a degree in Nursing. Competing in Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field this year, she posted her best indoor 60 time (8.80) and her PR triple jump mark of 10.61m (34'9.75") ranked her 38th in the South Central Region, qualifying her for the All-District team.
Slattery, a three-sport performer for Regis, holds a 3.80 GPA, also in Nursing. This year, the sophomore from Omaha, Neb. set career highs in her XC 5k time (19:27.2), indoor mile (5:17.25), and outdoor 800 (2:19.48), 400 (1:05.56), and 1500 (4:43.84). She ranked top 50 in the region in two events, the 800 and 1500, making her eligible for the award.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Student-athletes are to be based off TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination. Only individual ranked performances are used for eligibility which for cross country is a top 50 individual performance at the NCAA regional competition during the current academic year. For track and field, it is a top 50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor).
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
