2021 | Sophomore
Made 13 appearance in the circle for the Rangers ... Allowed just 43 hits (lowest in the RMAC) and 22 earned runs through 38.1 innings pitched ... Rung up 28 batters and only allowed four home runs ... Had the lowest amount of triples and sac flies allowed in the RMAC (1) ... Had a record of 2-3 and registered two saves ... Her ERA was 4.02.

Appeared in ten games and started nine… Had five caught balls and assisted in four plays that resulted in outs… While pitching, started eight games and posted an ERA of 5.73… Completed three games and had an IP of 36.2… Batters only had 41 hits against her and just 37 runs… Had 19 balls on base and 26 strikeouts… Batters averaged just .277 against her.

a 2019 graduate of Liberty Hill High School in Liberty Hill, Texas.... earned varsity letters in softball... was named the District Pitcher of the Year in 2019... earned many accolades including 2018-2019 All District First Team, 2018-2019 Team MVP, 2017-2019 Academic All District, and was a TGCA Legacy Nominee in 2019... her 2017 team finished second in the State Championship.

Abby is a native of Liberty Hill, Texas and the daughter of Julie and Sean Covington and has two siblings, Aubrey and Jacob. Her brother Jacob plays football for Army - West Point Military Academy (2016-19).
