2021 | Freshman
Saw action in 18 games this season, started five contests ... Rattled off three shots (season-highs) in back-to-back games to start the season versus Minot State and Southern Nazarene ... Totaled 10 shots through the season, seven of which were on-target for a SOG% of 70 percent ... Scored the first goal of her Regis career in the 53rd minute of play versus Southern Nazarene on Sept. 6 ... Notched an assist versus Western Colorado on Oct. 22.

Alex Baer is a 2021 graduate of Ridgeline High School in Millville, Utah. ... Originally from Stanford, Calif., Baer lettered all four years in soccer, as well as track and field ... At Ridgeline, she recorded 24 assists and three goals throughout her four years ... Impressively, her team's strong defensive core forced 24 shutouts ... Her junior year, her team reached the State Finals at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, but fell ... Her senior year however, she and her team fought hard and won the Utah 4A State Championship ... Baer was named to the Girl's Soccer First Team All-State Selection in 2019 and 2020 ... She was also named First Team All-Valley Selection by the Herald Journal in 2019 and 2020 ... In club play, Baer competed on the Utah Avalanche '03 ECNL team ... Baer enjoys volunteering for Cache Valley For Hope and even took a trip to China with the Dental Humanitarians ... She has excelled in the classroom as she was a 4.0 student and a member of the National Honor Society ... She was even named to the Utah Academic All-State Team ... Her grandfather, Kent Baer, is a longtime Division I football coach and is a Utah State University Hall of Fame inductee ...
