Linda DiPentino, Volleyball (1985-87)
 
DiPentino was an outside hitter that transferred to Regis from NCAA Division I Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo. She is a two-time NCAA Division II First Team All-American and was honored with GTE First Team Academic All-America distinction in 1987.
 
Along with her awards, DiPentino ranks atop Regis’ record books in several categories. DiPentino is first in career solo blocks (175), first in blocks per set (1.40) and first in points per set (4.94). DiPentino is also second in attack percentage (.356), fourth in kills per set (3.61) and total blocks (470) and fifth in block assists (295).
 
In just three years, DiPentino became a member of the 1,000 kill club and now currently sits in 13th with 1,212.
 

1977-78 Men’s Basketball Team
 
In Lonnie Porter's first season he led them to a 20-7 overall record and were Co-RMAC Champions. They had an average margin of victory of 13.0 points per game which led NAIA District VII and was seventh in the country.

The defensive-minded team held opponents to just 63.9 points per game while again led NAIA District VII and ranked ninth in the country.  There +6.8 rebounding margin ranked 15th in the country, while their team field goal percentage of 43.3 percent was 15th.

Senior forward Dave Fredrickson was named NAIA First Team All-District VII. Coach Porter was awarded the NAIA District VII Coach of the Year.
 

Derek Scarth, Men’s Soccer (1992-94)
 
Scarth donned a Ranger uniform for three years playing in 56 games netting 26 career goals and assisting on seven others. His mark of 26 goals currently ranks him tied for fourth in the all-time record books. Scarth played a large role in leading RU’s team to compiling an overall record of 36-21-3 throughout his time at Regis. Scarth was a three-time All-CAC selection while being named to the All-West Region Scholar-Athlete First Team his senior year.
 
Also in his final year at Regis not specific to soccer, Scarth was an Academic All-CAC pick, the University’s Chief Justice and was awarded the prestigious honor of Crest Club Male Athlete of the Year.
 

Dana Westover, Volleyball (1979-82)
 
Westover, the two-time NAIA All-American, graduated from Regis in 1983 after a largely successful four-year campaign for the volleyball program. Throughout her time, the Northglenn, Colo. Native, helped the team to compile an overall record of 89-45 including the program’s first 30-plus win season in 1982 that saw 32 wins.
 
In addition to her All-America status, Westover was a three-time NAIA All-District VII First Team selection and a four-time All-RMAC First Team honoree. Westover ranks first in the all-time Regis record books in block assists with 588. She also ranks second in total blocks (588), third in matches played (134), fourth in attack percentage (.313) and fifth in blocks per set (1.27).
 
Westover still currently holds single-season records in block assists (224), total blocks (224) and blocks per set (1.82). Westover and the Rangers qualified for NAIA postseason play in each of her four years advancing to the quarterfinals her senior year in which she named All-Tournament First Team.
 
Westover joined an elite group of Regis volleyball players in the 1,000 kill club with an impressive 580 kills her senior season. She currently sits 12th in kills with 1,222.
