Chris Boyle enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Regis University Cross Country programs. Boyle comes to Regis University after a 2 year stint in Portland, OR where he was the Head Boys Cross Country Coach at Valley Catholic High School. During his short tenure at Valley Catholic, his team won the 2016 OSAA 4A State Cross Country Championship title.

From 2013-2015 Boyle was an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Cross Country & Track programs at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash. During his time in Spokane, he helped coach Gonzaga’s first male athlete to the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. He also helped coach athletes to outdoor school records in the 800 meters, 1500 meters, 5000 meters, 10000 meters and indoor school records in the Mile, 3000 meters and 5000 meters.

As an athlete, Boyle competed at Gonzaga University from 2008-2013. He earned 1st Team XC All-West Coast Conference honors on two occasions and is the former school record holder at 5000 meters outdoors.

Boyle graduated from Gonzaga University in 2012 with a degree in Mathematics. He continued at Gonzaga to earn his Master’s of Initial Teaching. He is currently enrolled in the Educational Leadership Master’s program at Regis University.
