Skyler Burgess

Skyler Burgess was hired prior to the start of the 2021-22 school year as an Assistant Basketball Coach. He comes to Regis after an accomplished career as a player and coach overseas between 2016-2021.

Burgess began his basketball career at Treasure Valley Community College (2012-2014), helping TVCC to a conference championship during the 2013-14 season. He'd continue his playing and academic career at Pacific University from 2014-2016, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and earning Second Team All-Northwest Conference after averaging 10.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.

His performance at the collegiate level earned Burgess the opportunity to play professional basketball in Mexico, Spain, Armenia and Denmark, where he served as a player and head coach. In 2019-2020, Burgess was named to an Armenia All-Star team and was voted Second Team All-League after leading the league in rebounding. His last stop came in 2020-21 when he was a video coordinator and scour for the Kapfenberg Bulls.

Burgess and his wife Faith currently live in Thornton with their two dogs.
