2021-22 | Redshirt Senior (University of Nebraska-Kearney)
Simental was of the top scorers in the MIAA averaging 18.8 points per game and netting 70 three-pointers throughout the season. Started all 28 games while averaging 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Simental's two best games came against the University of Central Missouri with 33 points and Lincoln University with 27 points. Had nine games with at least four 3-pointers and seven games with at least five free throws made.

2020-21 | Redshirt Junior (Colorado State University-Pueblo)
Started in all 18 games he appeared in. Simental averaged 35.3 minutes per game with a 56.4 shooting percentage from the field.  Dropped a team record 48 points against Westminster (Utah) while making 14 of his 20 shots as well as 15 of his 16 free throw attempts. Throughout the season SImental averaged 18.9 points per game while earning all-conference second team honors.

2019-20 | Redshirt Sophomore (Colorado State University-Pueblo)
Finished 10th in the RMAC in scoring at the end of the season averaging 15.9 points per game and also leading the team in points per game. Started all 24 games he appeared in. Shot 88.5 percent from the line going 92-of-104 on the season which led the RMAC and tied for 18th in NCAA Division II at the end of the season. Scored 42 points against Fort Lewis on Dec. 7 to record the fifth most points in program history while also being the most points scored by an RMAC player all season and tied for 31st in NCAA Divison II in 2019-20.

2018-19 | Redshirt Fresman (Central Wyoming College)
Started in 29 of the 30 games he appeared in. Simental averaged 15.6 points in 29.4 minutes per game. Shot 43.4 percent from the field, 41.4 percent from beyond the arc, and 90.4 percent from the free throw line. Shot double figures in 22 games and scored more than 20 points in 10 of those contests. Scored a season-high 30 points against Williston State College.

2017-18 | Freshman (Medical Redshirt, Montana State University-Billings)
Played in five games before a season-ending injury. Scored 24 points and averaged 4.8 per game prior to his injury. Averaged 13 minutes as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL
2016 Colorado Prep Basketball Player of the Year. Was the two-time first-team All-State selection averaging 26.7 points and 2.6 assists per game as a senior. Simental helped the Cyclones win 77 games over four seasons as well as the 2016 Class 4A state title. He ended career with 1,958 points and set the school single game (43) and single season (688) scoring records.
