Fairmont State
He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Fairmont State where as a junior, he played in 21 games while making one start. He averaged 5.7 points per game and chipped in with 3.1 rebounds per game. He converted on 46.7 percent of his shots from the field including a 36.5 clip from beyond the arc, and an 87.5 percent mark from the charity stripe.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College
Prior to Fairmont State, Washington attended Chandler-Gilbert Community College in his native Arizona. As a sophomore he averaged 10.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. He notched a season-high 26 points against Central Arizona that season. He received All-Region honors as a sophomore.

Highland High School
Washington attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona where he was not only a standout on the basketball court but was also a member of the Track and Field team as well.
