Elsa Racasan enters her first year as Graduate Assistant Coach for both Cross Country programs.

Originally from Evian, France, Racasan grew up running in the French Alps and eventually competed around Europe in cross country, track and field, and mountain running. 

Racasan attended Rice University where she was a member of the cross country and track and field teams for five years. As an Owl, Racasan was honored with the Margie E. Sass Scholar Athlete of the Year award. Additionally, she was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Women's Track/Cross Country First Team. 

In 2019, Racason graduated from Rice University summa cum laude with a BA in Kinesiology. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Regis University.
