Breeana Martinez

Martinez joined the Rangers before the 2025-26 school year, bringing with her nearly 30 years of playing and coaching experience.

She began her collegiate playing career at Sierra College, winning the first California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championship in 2014. She then transferred to Mayville State University and finished with career averages of .458 batting and .975 fielding at third base. A member of the USSA International Softball Team, she played third base in Prague, Czech Republic in 2019 before transitioning to the coaching side.

As a Graduate Assistant at Concordia University (NE), she helped the Bulldogs to the NAIA Super Regionals for the first time in program history as a catcher/hitting coach. Her nine-year coaching career has seen stops NAIA, NCAA DII, and Junior College levels. Most recently, Martinez was at Folsom Lake College (Calif.). In her first season, the program’s eighth year, the Falcons made the CCCAA State Tournament for the first time.

Originally from Roseville, Calif., Martinez earned her Bachelor's Degree in Fitness and Wellness from Mayville State, and Master's Degree in Athletic Administration through Concordia University Irvine.
