Alexa Hardick enters her second season as a member of the Regis women's basketball staff in 2016-17.
Hardick comes to Regis after a successful playing career at the University of San Francisco (USF). RU head coach Molly Marrin was the recruiting coordinator on staff throughout much of Hardick's playing career.
At USF, Hardick was a four year member of the program from 2010-14 with the opportunity of playing for head coach Jennifer Azzi, an Olympic Gold Medalist in 1996 for the U.S. Women's Basketball Team. While at San Francisco, Hardick was team captain, a two-time WCC Academic Honorable Mention honoree, and currently holds the 14th highest three-point shooting percentage of all-time.
A native of Dallas, Tex., Hardick graduated from Bishop Lynch High School where she was a four time TAPPS 5A State Champion.
Hardick graduated from USF with a degree in Finance in May 2014 and moved back to her hometown for a year before returning to the world of college athletics. She plans to gain a Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Strategic Management from Regis.
